Training format
4–5 days of classroom instruction and hands-on practice, including timed drills and full practice tests.
CCO written and practical exams are administered in coordination with CCO
Prerequisites
Participants must:
• Recent or developing crane experience
• Ability to comprehend English (verbal and written)
• Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, unit conversions)
• Have prior experience operating mobile cranes
• Government-issued photo ID (18 or older)
• Active myCCO account

• Load chart booklets, workbook, and quick-reference handouts
• Practice tests and exam preparation materials

Exams Logistics
Crane Tech coordinates every step of the CCO testing process — from establishing the approved test site to scheduling and administering exams in coordination with CCO.
