Mobile Crane Inspector

Operator courses focus on daily and pre-use checks required of operators. Mobile Crane Inspector Training goes further, preparing participants to perform frequent and periodic inspections, analyze components in detail, evaluate wire rope, and complete full documentation.

Yes. The course aligns with OSHA 1910.180, OSHA 1926 Subpart CC, MSHA, and ASME B30.5, providing employers with compliant inspection documentation.

In some jurisdictions, crane inspectors must also meet state or local licensing or approval requirements. This course provides the federal-level training and documentation employers need, but additional steps may be required depending on location.

Participants who successfully complete the course and pass evaluations earn a certificate of training, a wallet card, and employer-ready documentation confirming their qualification as a crane inspector.

Evaluation results are valid for two (2) years. Crane Tech provides training and written/practical evaluations used by employers to determine mobile crane inspector qualification. Earlier re-evaluation may be required based on standards changes, equipment scope, or jurisdictional requirements.
