Training format

1–2 day program combining classroom instruction, demonstrations, and guided practice.
Includes:

Signal communication training for mobile and tower cranes

Written and practical exam preparation

CCO written and practical exams included, administered through Crane Tech

Prerequisites

No prior certification or experience required.
Participants must:

Be 18 years of age or older

Be able to read and understand English (verbal and written)

Hold or create a myCCO account before class (for exam registration)

Materials included

Each participant receives:

Signalperson training manual and workbook

Practice tests aligned with current CCO exam content

CCO application forms and administrative support — Crane Tech manages all registration and scheduling directly with CCO

Exam Logistics

Includes both CCO written and practical exams

All testing is administered and scheduled through Crane Tech in coordination with CCO

Certification cards are issued by CCO upon successful completion of both exams
