Training format

Two-day program combining classroom instruction, demonstrations, case studies, and guided inspection practice. Includes written assessments and practical exercises that confirm participants understand inspection requirements and recordkeeping responsibilities.

Prerequisites

Participants must:

Be age 18 or older with a government-issued photo ID

Be able to comprehend English (verbal and written)

Prior experience with MEWPs is beneficial but not required

Materials included

Every participant receives a training manual, workbook, inspection checklists, and evaluation forms for employer recordkeeping. A certificate of completion is issued to successful participants as evidence of training. This program is developed and delivered by Crane Tech, a U.S. Department of Labor 29 CFR Part 1919–accredited inspection organization, so employers can be confident the training reflects industry inspection standards.
